Hubbard House offers unpaid internships to undergraduate and graduate students. Interns can work directly with clients in most of our programs or in the development department working with events, marketing and communications.

All interns must complete a volunteer application and background screening. Register for an upcoming orientation to get started. If you are interested in working directly with program participants, in addition to the orientation, you will need to complete a 30-hour training offered by Hubbard House. It is offered several times throughout the year.

Interns in development do not need to complete the 30-hour training requirement to work with clients, but will be asked to complete the volunteer application, background screening and orientation after going through the interview process. If you are interested in interning in development, you can get started by sending your resume and cover letter to the Chief Development Officer at
