Get Involved
Your support means the basic needs of victims and children are met.
You and your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors can help keep our shelves stocked with food and other necessities for victims! We operate a shelter 365 days of the year and serve thousands of women, men, and children annually. Your donations promote the happiness and well-being of shelter residents and all victim-led families!
Here are our current needs.
Email us to schedule an appointment, Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm.*

Don’t forget to let us know the approximate size of your donation, so we can plan to have help, carts, or whatever else might be needed.
At this time, the Shelter and our programs do not need clothes or furniture. But check out our Thrift Store! They frequently welcome these items, and program participants often shop in our Thrift Store to set themselves up for the future (it’s free to them!). Donating to the Hubbard House Thrift Store supports victims of domestic violence in many ways.
Check out our in-kind donations page. It’s regularly updated and the donation needs are listed in priority order.
For safety reasons, donations are made by appointment, and we send the address after we’ve scheduled your appointment.
On average, we have about 120 people in shelter. About 60-70 are women and 50-60 are children. Male survivors may also stay in shelter.
We love how thoughtful our supporters are. You often try to do something special for residents and it is much appreciated. Due to confidentiality and safety reasons, we cannot provide this information.
Your in-kind donations are prioritized for Shelter, where we often have the greatest need. The Outreach Center and our other programs may also use the donations for program participants.
Hosting a fundraiser is a great way to raise awareness and support for our services! If you’re interested in hosting a fundraiser for us, please email us at development@hubbardhouse.org, and we’ll set up a call to talk through your event.
