EVERY RELATIONSHIP VIOLENCE-FREE

How do I help?

When trying to help a friend or family member escape domestic violence, your role is to express concern, to listen, to support her or him, to remind her or him that s/he’s worthy and entitled to safety, and to point the way to Hubbard House, healing and help.

When you tell your loved one about Hubbard House, be sure to communicate that our Domestic Violence Hotline, (904) 354-3114, is staffed 24/7 with trained advocates. The call is confidential, and the help is free.

The hotline is also here to help you, to answer your questions, to help you plan what to say and to help you stay safe.

We are here for you.
