3.   Host a trained speaker at your meeting or event: Invite us to share information about Hubbard House’s life-saving, life-changing shelter and services with your team. Email Stephanie at sbrown2@hubbardhouse.org to book a date.

4.   Donate today: A $1,000 donation supports a week of safe shelter and wrap-around services for a survivor and her child. Give now.

   

HOW TO PARTNER

You can partner with us today and directly support victims of domestic violence:

When you’re ready to do more, here are some great ideas:

  • Host a trained speaker at your meeting or event.
  • Place “What Is Abuse?” cards in restrooms or other highly visible places. Email education@hubbardhouse.org for cards and other informational materials.
  • Introduce your network to what we do and how they can get involved. Invite them to an event. Tell them about our work. Encourage them to partner with us in ways that are meaningful to them. Or, send them to us, and we’ll reach out! Email development@hubbardhouse.org.
  • Ask your HR department if they have information about Hubbard House, should someone need it. If they don’t, email education@hubbardhouse.org for materials.
  • If you suspect abuse, have a private conversation with the victim and let them know about Hubbard House’s confidential services. Encourage them to call our 24/7 Domestic Violence Hotline, (904) 354-3114, and speak with a trained advocate. If they don’t want to call, let them know in a gentle way that you are there for them and help is available, when they’re ready.

About Hubbard House

Hubbard House is your local full-service certified domestic violence center serving Duval and Baker counties. Our core services include an emergency shelter, a 24/7 Domestic Violence Hotline, counseling support, job coaching, housing assistance, and much more.

 

Hubbard House has answered more than 143,000 hotline calls and served more than 164,000 victims of domestic violence and their children in our life-saving and life-changing 49-year history. Thank you for connecting with Hubbard House and for your support of survivors of domestic violence!
