Hubbard House uses a service for this web chat that is end-to-end encrypted, meaning not even the company we utilize has access to your messages. Only you and the Hubbard House advocate you chat with have access.

This means that your messages cannot be turned over to a court of law. Additionally, Hubbard House advocates are privileged by the State of Florida and your conversations with them, verbal or written, are confidential.

However, there may be some risk in using this technology.
All devices have the potential to have keystrokes recorded or screenshots taken if spyware, malware, etc. is installed.


If you believe your device has the potential to be compromised, it might be safer for you use another device or call us via an unmonitored phone.

You don’t have to tell us your name or any identifying characteristics. We’re here for your questions about domestic violence, to safety plan with you, and review emergency shelter and other free services that may be available to you, based on your unique needs and goals.
