1978: Quickly growing out of their Hubbard Street location, Hubbard House found a new shelter location with better security in Jacksonville.
1976: Without government funding, Hubbard House opened its doors located on Hubbard Street in historic Springfield. It was the 13th shelter in the nation serving victims of domestic violence.
