Thrift Store - roll up your sleeves and help us sort through donated items from the community and hang and tag them for display in our stores. Great team building exercise, organization skills a plus!

Landscaping and Lawn Care - green thumbs needed to help beautify and clean up our grounds; other projects include painting picnic tables and benches and planting a garden.

Spring Cleaning Specialists - bring the elbow grease and help provide a nicer environment for our residents with some basic, and at times heavy-duty, cleaning.

Party Time - Plan an activity/party for the children and/or women in shelter. You will need to provide supplies and refreshments.

Happy Birthday - Commit to holding a “birthday” party once a month for all the children and/or women in shelter that have celebrated a birthday milestone that month. You will need to bring refreshments, games or activities, and small token gifts to give out. A minimum three-month commitment is requested.

Offsite Assistance:
You can help provide a greater degree of comfort for residents at our shelter facility by “adopting” any of the following areas:

Kitchens - restock with new plates, pots and pans, silverware, containers, etc. There are five kitchens at our facility.

Room/Wing - furnish new bedspreads, valances, side tables and other furniture. There are five residential wings in our facility with four bedrooms each.

Linen closet - stock with generous supply of new towels, sheets, extra blankets.

Emergency closet – restock with new underwear, socks, and other undergarments as well as pajamas and night clothes. Donations of coats, hoodies, and sweaters are welcome in cold weather. Also needed is comfort wear like sweat pants, tee shirts, sweat shirts, long underwear, etc.
