Qualified individual will assist with the creation and production of printed publications such as newsletters, annual reports, pamphlets, etc.; assist with overall responsibilities regarding special events and fundraising; help manage agency Web site to include informational updates, content and design; assist with initiating, developing and maintaining local media and public contacts for disseminating information; help coordinate agency ceremonies, press conferences and other events or special projects; and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Some college, advanced training or certification in the fields of communications, public relations or marketing preferred. An effective communicator with public speaking experience and excellent writing skills a plus. Also experience in Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Word, and Outlook preferred.
